Hungry Harvest UK
Hungry Harvest is a branch of Flawborough Farms which was purely started to just share a love of local, seasonal food and farming. Originally, Emma was at the helm of preparing the harvest food however, in 2009 after coming back from Cookery School in Ireland Tabs took over. Then in 2018 Sarah ( Tom's wife) and Holly ( local HAUC friend of Tabs) became part of the harvest cooking team. Due to Covid-19 making things difficult, Tabs having a baby, Sarah working fulltime and having 2 kids and Holly starting a new business harvest 2020 food has been a little different to recent years. Our local butcher Gary Jowett stepped up though (11 Nottingham Rd, Cropwell Bishop, Nottingham NG12 3BP) and has prepared meals for the team with locally sourced meat and produce.
